Understanding Edition Sizes
An edition size defines the number of fine art prints created from a specific photograph. For example, an edition size of 100 indicates that 100 signed limited-edition prints will be produced, alongside 1 to 3 exclusive Artist Proofs.
Each piece is signed and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, ensuring its exclusivity and collectability. With editions strictly limited to 100, 50, 25, 20, 10, or occasionally 5, depending on size and materials, you’ll own a truly special artwork that brings the serenity of the coast into your world.
Every edition also includes a small number of Artist Proofs, typically ranging from 1 to 3.
Because each collector’s space is unique, Paul offers both standard and custom sizes. Every size—whether standard or bespoke—is individually numbered and contributes to the total edition size. Each print is hand-signed by Paul and marked with its unique edition number and the total produced. For instance: 10/50. A certificate of authenticity accompanies every limited-edition artwork.
Valuing Limited Editions
Our limited editions follow a 3-tiered pricing structure that rewards early acquisition. As each edition progresses, its value increases:

Tier 1 pricing applies to the first third of the edition and offers the most accessible entry point for collectors.

Tier 2 is introduced once the first third has sold, reflecting increasing demand.

Tier 3 pricing is reserved for the final third of the edition and reflects peak market interest and scarcity.
Smaller editions of 25, 15, 10, or 5 are considered ultra-exclusive and are priced individually by the artist. The first and last prints in these boutique editions are particularly coveted and carry a premium.
Collector’s Editions (CE) – Reserved for Connoisseurs
The first 10 (or 5, where applicable) prints of each edition are set aside as Collector’s Editions, designed for our most discerning collectors. These low-numbered works are available at a premium and may be purchased at any point during the release.
Artist Proofs (AP) – The Rarest of the Rare
Artist Proofs represent the pinnacle of exclusivity. Limited to just a few prints per edition, these works are distinguished by subtle variations in tone, colour, or composition, deliberately crafted by Paul as unique interpretations of the original image. Their rarity and uniqueness are reflected in their elevated value.
