What is an Edition Size?

An edition size simply refers to how many prints of a particular photograph will ever be made. For example, if an edition size is 90, that means only 90 limited-edition prints of that image will ever be produced, plus a small number (usually 1 to 3) of very special Artist Proofs.

Paul carefully selects the edition size for each image at the time of release. Edition sizes typically come in groups of 120, 90, 60, 30, 10, or even as few as 5, depending on how exclusive the release is.

Each print—whether it’s in one of our standard sizes or a custom size tailored to your space—will be part of that edition. Every limited-edition print is hand-signed by Paul and numbered to show its place in the series. For example, 20/90 means it's the 20th print out of only a total of 90 made in the world.

Each piece also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, giving you confidence that your artwork is a genuine limited edition.

How Are Limited Editions Priced?

For edition sizes of 120, 90, and 60, we use a 3-tier pricing system that rewards early collectors:

• Tier 1: The first third of the edition is available at the best price. These are perfect for collectors who get in early.
• Tier 2: Once the first tier sells out, the price increases for the next third.
• Tier 3: The final third of the edition is priced highest, reflecting increased rarity as the edition nears sell-out.

Smaller editions (30, 10, or 5 prints) are considered premium releases and are individually priced by Paul. Often, the first and last prints in these small editions carry the highest value.

Collector’s Editions (CE)

The first 10 prints in every edition are reserved as Collector’s Editions. These are for passionate collectors who want the earliest or most exclusive numbers. Collector’s Editions are sold at a premium price and can be purchased at any time—just contact us or our gallery partners to learn more.

Artist Proofs (AP)

Artist Proofs are the most exclusive prints available. Only 1 to 3 are created for each image, and they come with special touches—Paul may adjust the colour, tone, or composition slightly to create a unique variation of the original artwork. Because of their rarity and uniqueness, Artist Proofs are priced higher than standard edition prints.
