There’s something magical about autumn on the coast. As the seasons shift, the landscape and atmosphere offer a whole new palette of possibilities for artistic coastal photography – and for those of us who love to work with intentional camera movement (ICM), this time of year can be especially rewarding.
Studio News / Artistic Photography
Welcome to my Studio News where I will share information related to my artistic process, inspiration, events, thoughts, and a great deal more. I do hope you enjoy these short reads.
But artistic coastal photography isn’t limited to images of the sea. The coastal environment is rich with stories waiting to be told—windswept trees on an estuary, the shifting patterns of sand, the fleeting presence of people enjoying the beach, or the weathered textures of boats and driftwood. These elements bring depth and narrative to coastal photography, making each image a unique reflection of life by the water.
Through this medium, I can convey emotions, tell stories, and connect with others in a way that traditional photography might not allow. ‘It is always my intention to create a piece of art’. In the end, it’s this transformative potential that keeps me coming back to ICM, always eager to see where the next movement of the camera will take me.
